He doesn't understand.

For at least 30 years, since I went to the boy's school, children have always worn their Halloween costumes on Halloween.
It was a fun day with a carnival in the gym.

Our newsletter last week said they are discouraging the children from wearing costumes this year and to wear orange and black.

Cai is very disappointed and confused. He was so excited when he got his new Batman costume.

There will be no carnival either due to the older children moving to the new middle school.

Why do they have to change everything? Can we not keep some traditions?

I have never heard of any problems in previous years nor have I seen any inappropriate costumes.

He is so cute as Batman. It is sad how things have changed these days. You little Griffin in adorable too. I hope things are going well. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

I know, poor kids. :(

Even in Rhys's class they haven't told them why.
