Advice from a 9 year old!

I made 3 pans of bread today, I pulled the dough out of the fridge and showed Patrick that one was pulling open, wondering why? Rhys tells me it's because I had an air pocket in the dough! Smart little man, he was right. I guess I didn't roll it enough to get the air out before I formed it. lol.

Yesterday was a sad day in the kitchen, my KA mixer died. I have had it for 6 months, I am going to be lost until I get it replaced by the company, it is going to take a few weeks by the time they send me the shipping labels, they get it and send me another. I love the mixer, I use it at least every other day, but the model we bought is not built to make so much dough and I believe the motor died. Apparently dough is hard on a unit. We are going to upgrade to a more powerful unit. It take a lot of baking and cooking to feed my growing boys.
